The Loft & The Attic
TipTop Photography are pleased to unveil and introduce their 2000sqft studio space based in the Jewellery Quarter, the heart of the 2nd city, Birmingham. The site is split into 2 spacious studios and whether you are looking for a photography shoot to capture you or those special people, or you are a photographer looking for an exciting studio space to work in – let me take you on a tour:
The LOFT - 'The Loft' is situated in a historic Grade II listed building on Warstone Lane, which features 1000 sq foot of space. It also includes:
Full size (9ft) professional background rolls with infinity curve (currently black, grey, white, oxford blue, crimson, yellow, raspberry, cobalt blue, silver grey plus others)
Original brickwork walls which can be used as a background
5 brightly colored panels specifically designed for alternative backgrounds
Original wrought iron spiral staircase leading to mezzanine floor space
Professional 300w lighting including extra large wafer soft box, many additional soft boxes, umbrellas, snoot, barn doors etc..
Private dressing rooms to make your models feel fantastic whilst they prepare
Furniture included:
Retro stools
Vintage chaise longue
Various period chairs
Seating blocks - animal print covers
Peacock chair
Set of modeling blocks - various sizes
Bean bags/bean chairs
Plus lots of other props including masks, wigs, fascinators, hats, clothing etc
The Attic – The Attic is located in the same building as 'The Loft', and also includes 1000 sq foot of space. This room allows the photographer to move away from the typical backgrounds and can be used to create ‘settings’ to add a level of creativity to the images

Period fireplace
Furniture included:
Wrought iron day bed/sofa

Plus lots of other props including masks, wigs, fascinators, hats, clothing etc
Both studios have:
Comfortable reception area - refreshments provided at no extra cost
Music to suit the shoot
Metered parking is available outside on Warstone Lane, an NCP car park within walking distance or free parking in some of the side streets
There is a tasty cafe across the road for hot meals/snacks - the breakfasts are delicious!
Basic hire rates are: (updated 13th January 2009)
The studios can be hired separately or together as one (the studios are joined by a connecting internal door)

When hiring the studio there is always someone on site to provide you with guidance with lighting set up if required and there is always a lighting specialist on hand if help is needed mid shoot - or.... we leave everything up to you if you are already an accomplished photographer.
All of the above is included in the hire prices - there are no hidden fees.
